Overview
One of a kind in the family.
Designed and built by BRM Aero, the Bristell B8 is the only high-wing model in the Bristell line, and the only one built entirely from metal. A cantilever wing with no struts, nose-wheel steering and composite cabin and luggage doors define it. The 125 cm cabin opens up the panoramic, under-wing visibility that high-wing pilots love, while 150 L of fuel turns it into a genuine cross-country machine.
About
Built to be seen from.
The B8 flies the way only a high-wing aircraft can. With the wing carried overhead on a clean cantilever and no bracing struts in the way, the view down to the ground stays open in every direction. Lakes, rivers, ridgelines and the runway itself sit right there below you, which is exactly why pilots who love to look out choose a high wing in the first place.
On the ground it is just as easy to live with. A steerable nose wheel and fixed tricycle gear keep taxi and landing simple, the 125 cm cabin is wide and bright, and 150 L of fuel turns a local sightseeing hop into a genuine cross-country trip. It is a relaxed, honest aircraft built for pilots who fly to see.
Highlights
A different kind of Bristell.
From the strut-free cantilever wing to all-metal construction and a choice of Rotax power, every feature is chosen to give you an open view, easy handling and the range to keep flying.

A clean cantilever wing
No bracing struts: the high wing carries itself, for an uninterrupted view of the world below.

All-metal construction
The only Bristell built entirely from aluminium: robust, repairable and easy to live with.

See beneath the wing
The high-wing layout opens up sweeping under-wing visibility, over the lakes, the rivers and the runway.

Nose-wheel steering
A steerable nose wheel and fixed tricycle gear make ground handling and the landing flare effortless.

Proven Rotax power
Your choice of the 100 HP Rotax 912 ULS or the 141 HP Rotax 915 iS, both fuel-efficient and field-proven.

150 litres of range
An enlarged fuel capacity stretches the legs of every trip: fewer stops, more flying.
Cabin
Wide, bright and open.
A 125 cm cabin and composite doors make the B8 easy to step into and easy to live in. With the wing overhead and tall side glass all around, the view down to the ground is the best in the family, and every cabin is finished to order.
